A long, long time ago, I grew tired with the lame Playmates Star Trek: Next Generation shuttlecraft and decided to make my own -- one that would be a more open, exciting space to play in. I was limited on pieces back then, and what I came up with wasn't all that impressive. These days, I have the parts, and my interest in the Playmates Trek figures has been rekindled, so I decided to return to this idea and make a better shuttlecraft.
Perhaps the biggest improvement over both the Playmates vehicle and my previous design is that this one accurately fits two crewmen instead of one.

The interior. It's not as open a space as in the previous design, but it sure looks nicer.
